My client, in the heart of Cardiff City Centre, are seeking Claims handlers to join their team. They have competitive benefits and a social working environment with a role where no two days are the same!

Main responsibilities of a Claims handler:

  • Manage a caseload of RTA claimant personal injury claims valued £10,000 and below
  • Liaise effectively with the claimant, medical specialists, third parties and all relevant parties to gather relevant information to help progress the claim
  • Work within standard service levels and act in the best interests of the client
  • Ensure all payments made and received are accurately recorded on the case management system
  • Commit to your own personal development and seek guidance when required

What are we looking for in a Claims handler?

  • Educated to degree level or previous experience in a solicitor or insurance environment
  • Experience of personal injury liability and quantum issues are desirable
  • Proven client care skills and excellent communication abilities
  • Ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines and manage your time efficiently
  • Demonstrable negotiation skills
